Default Wertys Casters speedy crawler build.

Got my speedy crawler yesterday.
Pictures
Next to the Yeti.

Here's the good. Hobby wing esc waterproof 60a, mated to a 550 2700kv 4pole brushless motor. Flysky waterproof receiver. 32 pitch gears.

I'm said they really did copy the twin hammers. Odd way of doing it though. I feel like this rear end has potential for modifying. It shows a dog bone in the tube.

Here's a reason I do like caster.
The cvds and steering all work with the same Arm mount. I can adjust the width by switching arms cvds and turnbuckels.

Normal 1.9 wheels work. The trepadors straight from a axial scx10 went on with no binding.

Finally got some time to play with the rig. Well the hot racing twin hammers shock cantilever fit perfectly.

Got all the caster aluminum parts installed. Also put 500k in the diff.

I haven't updated in a while. Busy with work.
I got some crawler innovation plastic rims and stretched the 1.9 growlers on them. Front I'm using .375 vp hubs and in the rear .225 hubs. This narrows the rig up a little bit. I also will be installing the front locker today.

Size difference between a 1.9 hot racing rim and the CI rims.

I bought one as well, I saw that Bruce had his hiding one day at the hobby shop, i let him beat on his a couple times saw it held up well. So I decided to get one as well then i heard you had one as well so I thought I just ad to your thred. The seem to be pretty well made for an rtr all hex head hardwear machined thread not a combination of machined and course thred like you find in other rtr's. Reasonable price with the aluminum upgrades and I've already found that some parts from other rigs cross over to it. So let the experiments begin. You going to have yours in auburn for the next u4 race?

I hope I can. I snapped a rear axle at the pin. Waiting on Chinese new year to be over so the 3 sets of rear axles show up.

You did a great job of finding everything I used. I have a prototype rear aluminum drive line on its way for testing. I'll post up when I get it. As far as more aluminum parts I have to get with casterracing later this month.

Got a new goody in and installed. Thanks to the crawl space for the ssd axle. I also put my trailing arms on and did a double shear mount. The rear should help with the nose heavy dives on jumps

Thankfully it's only brushed overhere. Otherwise I'd probably be scanning for part in no-time. ;)
If this rig becomes the weapon of choice, I'll keep you update. (Btw: brushed version = €200-250)

wow. that's right in Yeti's ballpark.
In the OP picture it looks like it's half the weight.
Can the chassis/suspension handle that power?

since I haven't seen the car in real life:
would a couple of 1.9 bead locks fit without a ridiculous offset? TW-style.

It has so far. I had a set of 1.9 wheels on it right off a stock deadbolt. No clearance issues. The crawler inovations 2.2 rims on the front only have .375 vp hubs.

Made a new output shaft. I hope this works. Heres the drawing. Then what I came up with on the lathe.
