Competitive tuber?
 
Could a "properly designed" tuber be competitive? Looks like all the competitive chassis have a very low C o G. Most tubers dont. If a tubers C o G was just slightly higher than a "normal" chassis, would you think it would be competitive? Is it a big deal? Suppose it was also light. Some people tend to say they like a little weight?? The biggest advantage I see to a low C o G is to help prevent rollovers to the side. Is there anything else a low C o G is good for? Why do we see more aluminum based chassis than tubers in the comps???

Me personally think that a tuber can be just as competitive as the rest.

I'm sure it could be done, it wouldn't look very scael though IMO. However it can be done. Low CG also allows the truck to take on steeper inclines as well as rollover resistance. You could have a mix, but it won't perform like a purebred, :D
