| R2 tranny versus scale yota axles Well, the r2 tranny has taken another victim of my rigs. This time a scaler lost its front axle. The spool, a ball bearing and both axle shafts are ruined. As they say, "repair it, break it, upgrade it". I have a feeling that helical gears and nice new xvd shafts are going to be ordered soon, my wallet hurts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

That's not the trans that did it, the yotas are known for that if not shimmed correctly. it was a much bigger problem when the tf2 first came out, they were scattering left and right sometimes with first use then people started tearing them down before use to shim them correctly. There is a few threads here on it, check the trailfinder area for them. -Dan |
