Default Vaterra SlickRock motor

Have one of these and really like it. Played in the snow today for almost an hour. Wondering if anyone has sugestions for an aftermarket motor that would add a little speed? Not a lot, but a modest pickup.

Thanks, John

Hi John.. This is probably best asked in the "losi mini rock crawler" section.. As they are the same thing.. Minus the scale side of the slick rock.
You'll find lots of help there, with all parts of the rig..

As for motor options..
You can search "380 extreme" for replacement..
Or promax cobalt puller motor...
Both are good options.

You'll find threads on them in the mrc section as well.

I've run both the motors named above and prefer the 380 extreme by far. It has a much smoother start up.

Thanks for your help, guys. I did find the MRC thread, after I'd already posted this!

Did a quick Google search on Extreme 380 and it led me to a Traxxas brushless motor. Is that what you fellows mean? If so, I'd rather stay brushed at this stage, especially for a crawler. Have Castle Mamba in both my Mini T and Mini LST and love it, but for some reason prefer to stay with brushed in my crawlers.

Thanks again, John

This'd looks to be the new one. It has the same specs as the one I have but different packaging http://www.xtreme-production.com/xtr...oducts_id=3396
