Default Monster Build/ Scale Chassis

Has anyone tried a scaler build using twin force axles? To create a straight axle monster. If so please send me some pics.

You might want to scrole down the main page a bit. there is a section for just twinforce and x-factor.

Not a "monster truck" but it has clod axles and a 19" WB, Leaf springs and ya..da.. yada. A monster in it's own rights.

It can be done. The Twin axles, once upgraded with steel ring and pinions, will handle MONSTER tires and MONSTER horsepower. I've got a Twin crawler that I run 8 1/2' tall LST tires on quite a bit but switch to Moabs for comps. It'd probly take bigger tires if you wanna build them. I'm also running a brushless set up that'll peak at nearly 2 horsepower and the drivetrain just begs for more Everything in the Twin is all 1:8 scale buggy stuff so it's pretty dang stout.

I have a fun Large Scaler coming soon also. It will even have tunes. Just think what it will look like with Clod axles and Moabs. The doors, tail gate, brake lights, turning signals, Bed cover all work. Oh and the wheels are even 40 series. Not sure what I can do with them yet. This thing even has a MP3 hook up on it. I got this for FREE from Dollar General. The just through way there returns. This one had a Bad Charger. I just replaced the plug on the end and it works fine now. They have my number so I will get more when they get returned.

Thats my idea exactly. WHen I saw the Twin force internals i knew there had to be an answer to stop breaking things. Such combo. with big tires, brushless and weight just poduces more stress to the drivetrain. Anyways I first saw the internals from a nitro truggy and then the mad force/ twin force shares the same components. I sad wow that the answer to less breakage.

This is my 6th scale YJ build if I ever get around to it. It will have TF axles.

I started one using a Nylint body, but never got around to finishing the link mounts. Maybe seeing another build finally will spur me on.

It's just about done. I'm waiting on a gear case and a little time to finish the trailer.
