Default What would be best for a Trials Truck?

So I am thinking about building a very scale trials truck. Something similar to this one.

It will be for things just like a true trials truck. Ditch climbs, hill climbs and especially mud pits.

So my question is, what do you think would be most important as a motor consideration, Torque or Wheelspeed?

Real trial trucks obviously have a limited about of articulation, loads of weight, not much at all for Wheelspeed but loads of torque.

Why not both? 3s sensored brushless and a bit of throttle expo, and you'll get the best of both worlds

What about something like a 27-35T throw away motor on a 3s? Imo it would have plenty of torque and wheel speed while being cheap, but I'm a tight ass and always go the low buck way Have you given a 2 speed tranny any thought?

If it was me, I'd go with the ROC412 2300KV. I prefer the 3100KV motor but if you want to keep the wheelspeed a little more realistic than that motor would do well still. Plus it will still be a torque monster.

If water and mud weren't as big of a concern, I'd run the Holmes sensored outrunner.
