Default Gladiator Body, did it!

A thread on here gave me the idea. I put the gladiator body on a super stretched chassis. the wheelbase is around 21 inches. looks sweet!

i'm working on lowering it now. i can get it quite a bit lower, i just have to clearance the wheelwells a bit. as it sits now I already had to shave some off the rear flares. I just might cut them off completely. then i could lower it about 1 - 1 1/2 inches would look much better. the only down side right now is the COG. i have the factory battery on its side, but its still too much weight up high. I guess i'm gonna need a f&f battery.

No full interior, its hollow inside. its actually really cheap. the body is hard plastic, not soft. it seems as if it would break pretty easily, but I think it looks cool. I'm not sure what you mean by proportional? I'm not a RC guy, just good with my hands and I like tinkering. the gladiator is 2 wheel drive, and one speed, if that helps. It is pretty damn fast though! the wheels are also hard plastic, so it does good donuts on a solid surface.

by proportional i meant variable speed like the 1/6 nylint. so i guess it isn't then.

then no. its BALLS TO THE WALL or nothing.

I have lowered it some, about an inch. It looks a ton better. I still have some triming on the rear to do, but i'll get some pics up soon.

Looks far better than the one with wrangler or the scorpion body.

that thing looks great. Definitely needs to be lower to achieve a more realistic look though.

Default Update

Here it is now. about 1 - 1 1/4 inches lower. I had to do considerable cutting in the rear to allow full flex, but it still looks good.

Before

After

Front Cuts: minor triming on the rear portion of the fender flare, and triming front bumper

Rear Cuts: major cutting of the front portion of the fender flare, minor body triming, and bumper triming.
