Talking NOOB Here

Well I had my red 1/18 Jeep Nylint for a while and stumbled across this site the other night and HOLY SHYT!! I love workin on my real jeep all the time but I have never once touch an r/c. So I will try to do my best to the lil jeep and I am sure I will be needin some advice. Since Like I said I have never worked on r/c (let alone know anyhting bout them) and I never even realized you could do all these badass things with these little crawlers!

Cheers!

Thanks man!

I am sure as I tinker with this thing a lil I will get some idears.

Right now though I am wonderin how to get the wheels off so I can flip them for the time being. I will eventually do the 2.2 mod but like I said never messed with these things before. I see four screws holding the back rims together but the front I can not tell. Do you know what all is intailed to getting to the screws on all 4 wheels?? Bueler, Bueler

Grab gently with pilers on the center cap and twist. now with cap off remove the gold screw with lock-tite on it. now you can get the wheel off.

Thanks man! Your name says it all!!! Two of my favorite things to do!

Well just got done with my first two minor mods. I cut the springs down and reversed my tires!

Next up I would like to lengthen the wheel base. How did yous do so? Did you have to snip the wires and add a length in cause I found mine only to stretch out bout a half inch.:?

I stretched mine half an inch on the rear and front for a total of a 1 inch , All i used was really small pvc tubuing and i didn't have to cut any wires either
