Thanks
Only xr width tie rod/drag link set I've seen recently is RC4x4.
Is out of stock at RCBros atm but SuperShafty have some.XR10 Mod Steering linkage set RC4x4 - Super Shafty

Matt from RC4x4 sent me one to test fit for length but I didn't get a chance to do it before I packed my stuff away. Sorry fellas.

All your parts will work except you will need to play with your rear upper links. I haven't installed them in a stock application yet, but that is what I recall.

I've had the vanquish link kit on it already. Which came with the link mount for the front axle.

Hey Harley I have everything in your build list for your U4 build. I'm having issues with heavy binding on my front F9 axles, as far as trying to manually move the knuckles from side to side or spinning the XR10 universals. Is there anything I'm missing? I'm using the exact same parts except I'm using HHobbies Spools. Did you run into a bind issue? When I unscrew my c hubs from the xr tubes it frees the binding, like the universals are like .5mm to long (estomate) Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The holmes locker is the issue. The slots aren't deep enough is all. Grind a little on the shaft length and extend the flat a little up the shaft. Or you can get the new lockers from Holmes which have been updated to fix the issue.

Anyone else having problems stripping front lockers? The f9 housing is 2.5mm wider than the stock ar60 housing. This is pulling the axles half way out of the locker.

Why would it not be the same width as stock

I am and the extra width also caused major binding between the outer tubes and the 12mm wheel hexes. When tightening down the wheels it totally locks up. I had to file the outer tubes down nearly to the snap ring then I filed the hexes down. Still had a little binding until I ran it enough that it ground itself to clearance LOL

And this is only the rear axle. The front is perfect.

Anyone from VP check their threads anymore? People are here complaining about a design issue, maybe it could be addressed?
