|  eBay K44 initial thoughts and overview
For my most recent project (in the 1.9 section FYI), I decided to purchase the eBay special "K44" axles from our copycat Hong Kong friends and see what they're about. After a few weeks went by, I was pleased to see a Kong Hong box in front of my door. After the box was torn to bits, I was very pleased with the first handling of the axles and found a great surprise as well! Scale 12mm hex brake rotors with standard 12mm hexes and all of the hardware to put them together. The only thing they DIDN'T come with were the axle trusses. Luckily, RC4WD sells their trusses separately to help. The only difference I can tell with the exterior with these compared to the real K44s is that the Kong Hong K44s are cast instead of machined. Next, I will further investigate by opening up both a true K44 and the more faker one. On to the pictures!       |

For the price of a pair of Hong Kong K44s is about $20 more than the price of a single RC4WD K44.

i was searching around on ebay to find these axles to check them out but all that comes up is the rc4wd version. advice on what keyword I should try?
