Nylint has been making Tonka-type toy cars for decades. Long before they entered the rc market. What do you mean by "static"? As in - no motor or anything? Or does it have a friction motor? (pull back/let go) Last edited by Big Mike; 01-03-2007 at 01:56 PM.

I'm 44 and remember having a Nylint tow truck as a kid. Tough as nails. Big, heavy Tonka-type vehicle.

I'm pretty sure they started in 1947. I used to have all their toy loaders and graders, backhoes and steam shovels when I was real young. they got good use in the sandbox and dirtpiles

You should somehow hook up a motor to it.

i always remembered nylints being good hard core toy trucks and stuff, just as tough as a tonka truck, but they always seemed to be less expensive for some reason.

My mom collects Harley Davidson junk and she has a Nylint Harley Davidson 18 wheeler. It even makes engine noises as you push it and air brakes when it stops.
