its called axle stall. since the axles are driven by seperat motors there are such a load on the axles that the motors arent strong enough to spin the tires. btw there is nothing wrong with youre nylint all you should do is try a difforent line Bronco

sorry trickedout but this is the 1/18 fourm. Bronco is right its motor stall the 1/18's don't have belts. Think about motor stall like a fuse, it keeps ya from braking things, I meen some things. OK what am I talking about I've broke everything there is to brake.

sounds like you have a lack of power going to your motors. you are in low gear right? i would check out your battery first. | |

got 2 batteries both are fully charged, i do have one thought, i disconected the high gear ratio, and glued the little black thing that you move side to side for low or high gear to the low gear itself, wonder if it come undone or loose

It definitely sounds like you have a wiring/power issue on the motors. This motor stall is very apparent when you have hobby grade electronics. Just feathering the throttle, you can easily get the front motor to slowly turn while the rear is stalled out due to binding against a rock. If you really goose it, though, both will usually turn. With the stock electronics, it's either all or nothing, so if you have the throttle pulled, you should be getting full juice to both motors. I would carefully check the wiring at the circuit board and at the rear motor.

Thanks for the follow up. So it wasn't your high gear lock-out mod, it was just an unrelated failure in the planetary gear?
