Hey yall. I'm having a problem with deciding what kind of shocks to use on my next project. for the one I just got done with I used some old traxxas shocks. but for this new one I wanted to go with a different set, and hopefully a cheap set. what are some suggestions?

Rodolo, are those oil-filled shocks? And do they fit on semi-stock 1/18 Nylints? I have one that's semi-stock, the only thing I've done is HG electronics and cut coils. I looked at using the nice shocks/springs from either my Team Losi LXT or Team Associated RC10T, but both sets were too long and didn't offer enough compression (even the front shocks from either HG rig).

here is the link: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXANU1&P=ML You have make them work I used rubber tubbing and slid it into the shock over the screw. then tightened till the rubber made a solid fill in the shock.

what is a mini frog? do you have a link? is that the new Tamiya frog? if so is that shock still a 4 inch shock? I was looking at some shocks on Tower and found some that are 5 inch and 5.25 inch. what do you guys think about that? a little more shock travel and more mounting options. Joe

uumm lol you guys where right, these things are huge! they are 5" long for the rear and 4 1/2" in the front and they are some stiff s.o.b.'s even with out fluids in them and the tension all the way loose. luckily though I have a guy here in town that will trade me for some aluminum traxxas rustler shocks or some type of traxxas, all I know is they look awful purty
