Default Another "My first tuber" thread.

Finally got my workshop setup in the basement of our new house.. went right to work on my first attempt at a tuber. It is made of 3/16th solid rod, I was only going to make the main hoop out of soild at first, but it was easier than I thought to work with so I just went for it.

Wheel base will be somewhere in the 16.5 range. I will use clod axles most likely (dont wanna mess around with a tranny mount on the first go.) It is not toally finished, the frame still has a few cuts/welds to be made.. then onto the shock and link mounts.

Just thought I would throw it out there for some feedback.

Nice, I just built my first sandrail frame out of some solid rod and MIGed it together. It's good stuff to work with, there's a pic of the frame in the tesing section, under "Pic size testing".
