K44s come with all the upgrades (gears and XVDs) and is a driver side drop front axle. Not realistic for a cruiser. The stock axles are pretty period correct. I would just upgrade the stock axles myself.

| Re: RC4WDGelande II Truck Cruiser I knew about the XVD's, but they come with the helical gears too!? If so, add those bad mamajama's to cart...

The Yota axles are die cast and a 2 piece casing design. The K44 axles are CNC Machined and a 1 piece design which allows for a different diff cover and makes gear changes much easier. The K44 has heavy duty gears but I don't believe they're helical cut but appear to be a different pitch which would make them stronger than the Yota versions. Overall the K44 axles are much beefier than the Yota axles. I'll be installing a set on my TF2 shortly.

Happens all the time in rock crawling. First Toyota pickup 4x4s (factory, somewhere they were dealer done iirc) used Dana front axle and had shackles on front of front springs like a Jeep. Those early 'factory' Yotas had smallish Dana axles, not 44s or 60s. |

Dana was/is making frames for North American Toyota trucks (Tacoma for sure), but not axles. | |
