Default Titanium lower links

For 2.2 crawlers - lower links;

1. What diameter are folks using?
2. I can only find rod not tube . With rod I could cut the thread direct on it.
3. Only found grade 5 so far in the uk - any good?

Thanks

Well, done a bit of searching!.. Looks like most common is 3/16 or 1/4" so 5 or 6mm... And yes all in rod not hollow tube it looks.

Think I'll get some 4 and 5mm and see how it goes :-)...

Also grade 5 is tough as hell! Apparently grade 2 is a lot softer and prone to bending with heavy abuse....

If anyone has any other info I'd be pleased to hear it :-).

Cheers

SSD RC has some nice ti tube links in different lengths with 6mm OD, and they make quality parts. You could always trim them down and re-tap if you need shorter, but they have different lengths.
