| Shortest shocks
I want to build a truck for on-road use. I need to make the rear very short thought about the dinky cantilever setup but it may look goofy (for lack of better word). Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |

I was thinking 1/18 scale but wasn't sure if the weight would destroy them. That's all I needed I may pull the trigger on the shocks. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |

1/10 touring/sedan/drift car shocks and 1/10 front buggy shocks are both short, but they usually have a 10-12mm diameter bore (Associated shocks). Those 1/18 may only have a 6-8mm bore, judging by the picture of the pistons, o-rings and shock shafts (item # 21190) and the 10mm diameter. Something like these, a 12m body usually means a 10mm bore. I would HIGHLY recommend setting the truck to the height you want and figuring out an estimated shock length that way. You're looking at all these short shocks and they could end up being to short. Just my opinion. |
