Default Do i need one or two??

Hey guys was hoping someone could help me. So I have a scx10 with a high torque savox steering servo which draws quite a bit. So I have a glitch buster plugged into my third channel which does help a little. What I want to do is to add a servo to act as a winch on my 3rd channel and was going to use heyok 2 position to 3 position adapter. With all that being said I was going to drop the glitch buster and go with an external bec. Do I need to have two; one for the winch and one for my servo or will one be enough? Thanks any thoughts or opinions would help.

I never had a problem with running two with one. You could also run the steering servo off an ex bec and the winch from the rx off the esc bec.

It sounds like your third channel only has two positions.
Have you considered this controller?
Winch Controller for Radio with 2 Position Third Channel

Or, I could make a relay version of it if you prefer.

If you aren't running some sort of external BEC to ensure you have good power to your steering, I suggest you give it a try. It will probably cure your need for the glitch buster.

There are many options for running an external BEC.
This thread describes two versions that I make:
No Brainer BEC

This might be worth a look too:
Yes, another one: BEC to HV Servo Wiring

Thanks heyok I was actually talking to my lhs on ordering one of your 2 position to 3 position on third channel. But found out I have a ttx300 that u can actually program I didn't know. (Manuals didn't come with my rc I assume when I ordered it it was floor model and just got tossed in the box and shipped. But I think I will get an external bec was thinking cc bec but don't want to purchase the link. Was wondering if I could get on that outputs 6v.

Welcome.
I think the CCBEC is set to 5.5 volts from the factory - someone correct me if I am wrong. You can of course change it using a programmer.
If you get the No Brainer BEC I can preset it to whatever voltage you ask - as long as it is about two volts lower than your pack voltage.
