Default Nothing is sacred, not even the Wraith

Don't know if these have popped up before & I don't know if this goes here or in chitchat, the product itself most likely goes straight in the bin.

Bought one of these just for fun since they was so cheap. But they are completely trash, except the cage and interior. It is a bit smaller than a wraith.
I drove it 2min in the living room, and could only laugh at the horrible quality. Dismantled it and tossed everything in the thrash, except body and interior. The electronics I gave away to my brother who was building a small truck and needed 380 cans.

Everyone raves about these cheap knockoffs over on the rcgroups forums. I just sit back and laugh to myself, when I see all the time and money they end up spending on the " budget trucks".

The servo sounded like a rattle snake, in fact it was not even a servo, it was a on of motor with springs that took it back to neural, and some kind of weird servosaver system to prevent it from breaking, and the rattle sounds was from it skipping on the servosaver thingy all the time.

The shocks was so sloppy that they binded on themselves in the cycle.

Hell, even the dogbones was from plastic.

So in other words it's horrible beyond imagination. But the cage and interior was ok, if you want to build a 1/14ish wraith.

Those Chinese retailers send forum members free products for rave reviews. I received a few dozen models from a large retailer before throwing in the towel.

They expect photos, videos and reviews to posted on the big forums. If they are happy, the next item they send will be higher in value. It was fun at first, but making that crap look good was tough. The reviews by forum members are extremely misleading, although some attempt to act neutral and make it appear that they are a regular Joe who bought the item.

The last few items I received were quadcopters that were horrible.

I can't believe that forum is still active. It's always been garbage IMO. As stated by TIME MACHINE, those reviews are paid advertisement in a way. The companies, such as AliExpress and Gear Best send free stuff to those people in exchange for a positive review. I know because I got one and it was a giant POS. I couldn't bring myself to writing a positive review so I bowed out of that program.
