| Phone mount for wheel radio?
I know that I have seen pictures of and even once in person seen folks with a mount on their radio for their cell for taking pictures. I have spent the last hour googling and bing searching for idea on how to do it, but have come up with nothing. I guess no one make this commercially. Has anyone done this? Im sure that I could go buy a mount from Amazon and just screw it to my radio, but if someone has done one up that looks clean, I'd like to see it. Thanks.

I have one very similar to this and it works great to hold the phone to the remote https://www.amazon.com/Aduro-UNI-SPH...p+phone+holder |

I bought a Gorilla Pod tripod with cell phone mount and magnetic feet. It worked reasonably well last weekend when I wrapped the feet around the bottom of the radio and the grip.

I made one out of a discarded cigarette pack and gorilla tape.

I converted a Go Pro sticky base and adapted a Dromida Wife Phone holder together so I can use a Drone View camera in car and watch it on phone while driving. it easily snaps off of controller when not needed. Last edited by Bry73; 10-31-2016 at 02:40 PM. |

I used an ISOS "clamp style" phone holder on my DX4c. I selectively trimmed the suction cup base until it was just the ball mount, then chem welded it to the Tx with acetone to the flat area on the battery tray's side. Worked like a charm until I loaned out the radio. I can't find the clampy-thing any more (I can't remember where I put it) ...And the ball mount was broken somehow during transport.
