Default Mini clod style crawler???

Hi everybody! I've been out of the crawler scene for a while but recently found a little HBX Devastator crawler and the bug but me again. I started looking around and a lot has changed. I'm curious if there is anything small scale with clodbuster style dual motor setup, aka one motor directly on each axle? I think something like this in 1/16th scale or smaller would be really cool. Any thoughts?

Any idea If they're any good? Mainly just looking for the axles for a project but they don't seem too bad.

No, I don't have any idea about this. I'd check YouTube for reviews. I'm sure they're out there.

Curious why you'd want motor on axle in mini scale, that'd need 380 or smaller motors wouldn't it?

You are correct, they would generally use 380 or smaller motors. I have multiple reasons for wanting it actually. Bring the weight out to the axles thus allowing the other electronics to sit lower in the chassis(better traction & lower CG), no torque twist from driveshafts, and the child in me thinks more is better so two motors should perform better.
