After having these for a good while now, I'm really liking them. I recently switched them to droop. Put the light spring under the piston. It pulls the chassis down to the axles, and really makes a difference on sidehills and keeps the front from unloading during steep climbs. Onr thing I love about this hobby is being able to make a few changes and have a rig the acts completely different. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

Dudes, Am I glad I found this thread. Picked up these shocks for a bargain in the classifieds to throw on my SCX10II build, after shock build and install, was very bummer at just how poor the performed. The answer was indeed in the nut around the shaft. After some playing, they're running so smooth with the medium springs. This will be a pretty stock weight SCX10 running a ~5000 3S, so we'll adjust as required. Thanks for the info y'all. |
