Default What is considered heavy?

My c2 crawler I'm building will whey in on 8lbs fully built. What I'm wondering is what do you guys consider being a heavy truck? I feel that it is a bit heavy, but considering I'm using a heavy rc4wd Boyer chassis and a hardbody it's not to bad. I know that ones it is ready I will start fabricating my own chassis instead.

Depends on the class/tire size but that sounds about borderline heavy. It also depends what batteries you run since those can go from 70-300 grams and if those are included. My own best estimates would go like this, in an RTR state with batteries: <5 lbs lightweight, 5-8 lbs average, 8+ lbs heavy.

My FJ is around 9lbs all ready to rock and roll, and my TF2 isn't much lighter... Both are exceptionally capable for "scale" rigs. If it performs how you like then I wouldn't stress on the weight issue. Like my scale rigs like I like my women... Realistic, heavy, and a little awkward ; )

My first 2.2 scaler weighed in at over 10 lbs. Total weight doesn't matter near as much as where the weight is placed.
