I've seen a couple rigs with really neat setups like one link suspensions, bellcrank steering, quarter eliptical leaf springs, watts link, cable steering, hydraulic steering etc...

Here's a neat Watts link i found on another site

This is a single leaf one link from pirate4x4

One link with panhard

I keep reading guys like you posting comments like this^. Although I liked your images and post I wonder Maybe you aren't looking hard enough! Just today I noticed several inspiring threads full of creativity! You just have to stop looking at everything with a depressed half-glass empty POV. Seriously. 5 Minutes of reading and I see: Full on custom titanium laser welded trailing arms, a couple guys making awesome 3-D printed axle housings, a 1937 dodge business coupe turned into a full custom tube cage along with headers motor and all for mud racing, mulitple custom fabbed truggy beds. Seriously. I see it daily on rcc. Lots of guys with some inspiring and intuitive stuff.
