Default Anyone heard from integy?

I am just curious, since some of you have some inside connections, integy is out of lathe motors (as far as I have heard). Are they planning on making more lathe motors, or have they talked about releasing some crawler motors based on the lathe motors? Have you guys heard anything? Maybe they can work on a 550 sized 55t motor? And not to limit it to integy, are there any companies who have leaked that they will be making crawling motors?

The more expensive 55T motor is from www.eaglemodel.com

http://eaglemodel.com/en%20net/en%20menu_en.html

http://eaglemodel.com/en%20net/en%20...ont03_2_1.html

You could contact eagle directly (They're in Japan) about getting motors if you don't want to wait on Integy.

So how do the eagle motors stack up against the integy motors?

i am a dealer with integy, so i dropped them an email to see if they would give me any more insight on the availability of the lathe motors. i have had tons of requests for them. as soon as them come available i will have probably a dozen or so in stock.

jason, i'm glad you provided that link directly to eagles site because it states their 55t motor is for 7.2 volts. i was going to run them on 8 cells, but i guess not! now i have to decide to give tj my used lathe motors, or put the eagles in his new rtr truck???????? i'll probably give him my lather motors, because i know they are tried and true.

I ordered a couple Integy 55t lathe motors a couple weeks ago from my LHS and got them with no trouble. Have you tried your LHS?

what does it say on the top of the enbell? I am willing to bet the eagle and integy are the same. My Integy says T MECS

There are actually only a few motor manufactures, all the companies just throw in brushes and springs and label them.

8 cells will not hurt the motor. In a crawler it will be geared so no problem.
