My Truck

Well heres my Nylint after a few mods, I just got it set up nicely, how i wanted, and my circuit board quits. So il probly get a jr receiver and an esc, and use it with my jr transmitter. My mods so far: Tummy tuck, stick type chassis, reversed, cut, and weighted tires, oil filled shocks, i modified the battery into a flat pack so it would fit between the body and the chasis, reversed rear axle.... I think thats it. P.S. the duct tape on the stick is just to cover it up until i decide to paint it, because its white.

when i uploaded the pics, it put them all in one link, starting with the last one, so just hit the red "previous" button at the top of the screen to go through them

seems with that shock set up, that your crawler's axle would be biased to flex one way more than another. is this the case?

Nitrorunner 01-23-2007 06:39 PM

nah, the shocks are opposite ways on each axle. I guess it does a bit, but when the front stops flexing, the back takes the rest. It has enough flex to set the axle straight up and down, but the body limits it, so i might have to do something about that.

You got a poop load of flex right there, buddy.

.......because 90* flex is just what is needed in the crawling world!!

I messed around with my shock location a couple of times, and I had my crawler flexing till it rubbed the body with the stock wheels. found out real quick articulation on an actual hill and/ or incline means roll-overs!got to limt it somewhere, unless you just like to take pics instead of having a properly functioning truck. best of luck to you.
