Probably like this or more. Lol. You'll need a tranny and motor to handle them.

Probably easier to buy a 10th scale rig. Lots of work to convert it to 10th scale

You mean like the ones that come on the Barrage kit version?

Those look so much better than original Barrage and also moves the shocks outside the frame rails, love it! Thanks for posting the pic!

$94 upgrade, can't decide if I should pre order or just wait until they're available. And no limiters on those shocks.

Axles, housings, hubs and hexes. Probably better off buying the whole kit for $179.

A set of Trail Finder or Yota axles would be slightly wider. Kinda like ar60s under an SCX10.

I'm looking for other options but keep coming back to the Doomsday axles. Still have time to learn what I can piece together and shop around before these are available anyway. I'll just continue having fun driving it in the meantime.

One tire costs more than that Sami. Let alone those Rockwells.

So, are the V3 axle housings just a drop in replacement? I get the old hexes won't work, but I have a set of Losi Mini 8ight T hexes I've never used, so those should work perfectly. I'm worried if I have to get a new steering link and hardware for the shocks, in case pre-existing parts don't work. I just want to be able to pull the old housings, swap my shocks, install the new housings, and hit the road. I really dislike hang-ups and roadblocks while doing this sort of thing, you know? Lol

most likely need to order the new upper links too, instead of running the funky wishbone upper link on the V1 barrage axles. also I see they are now using a metal servo mount deck? different servo horn too. looks much easier to use a full size servo that will last more than 2 packs, no spacers required since the shocks are outboarded already.
if only my son was born one month later... his b-day was in august so he has a barrage v1. well I replaced servo, flipped batt bracket, cut limiters and dremel'd the bumps off the diffs, so... I guess he has a v1.5? lol

this kit version is tempting though... $170 then throw his old truck on classifieds as a roller for like $90? still cheaper than buying the new parts. hmmm...
