| Anybody taken delivery on a Redcat Gen7 yet?
I appears that these may be shipping, although the WEB is still kind of vague about that. Kind of worries me that Redcat missed their original release date by almost 2 months. I'm still interested though, if they are indeed shipping.

AMain shipped mine a couple days ago, with a scheduled arrival date of 10/11.

I got mine yesterday. The rubber seems pretty good, especially for an RTR. I've already replaced the upper links in the front to shorter ones that are close to 80 percent of the lowers. The stock links are almost as long as the lowers and are mounted with no vertical separation. The bpc chassis does have mounts though to fit 80% links with no modifications.

Any reviews on the performance compared to the bomber, etc?

| Re: Anybody taken delivery on a Redcat Gen7 yet? It is a 1.9 scale crawler...it won't perform as well as a bomber. You need to compare it's performance to others in this class. I don't have a Gen7, but from what I've read, I'd guess its performance would be similar to an OG SCX10.

it's better than the OG SCX10, mostly because of battery placement. I've heard some complain that the steering isn't as good, but running it next to my sons' stock dingo, the steering seems to be the same. | |

I've got a Bomber and a Gen7. As others have said, a Bomber is an entirely different vehicle and is much more capable. That said, I was surprised at what the Gen7 could climb up, and I think most of that is due to the tires. At least on my terrain (rough rocks - almost like sandpaper) dirt trail, and trails covered in deep fresh leaves), the tires had a lot more grip than my stock R35 Bomber tires.

Anyone replace the body with something more scale looking yet?
