Default Axial Wraith Plastic Axle Options

I was wondering if there were any other plastic axle housings made for the axial wraith. Thanks. ThatJeeper

There's the SSD D60HD for the rear, don't know about the front.

Ya, I just mocked up my New SSD rear axle set, loved it because it has big pinion bearings. Wish SSD makes front as well. Thank you ThatJeeper2017

I'm guessing that SSD's recent release of their AR60 "front" diff cover, that mimics a Dana 60 cover, was their solution for a matching D60HD front axle. I'm totally good with that as I've already built my AR60. As Teng suggested, buying a modified AR60 housing from Dlux will get you a 13mm inner pinion bearing just like the plastic SSD axle uses. My SSD D60HD rear axle never gave even a hint of a problem running 4s through a 550 sized brushless system, so I'd say the 13mm inner pinion bearing in a plastic axle is sufficient strength.

The problem is a lot of users buy the cheap cast alloy stock AR60 style replacement cases (xtra speed etc..). I have no idea why as I dont see the point personally. So the market for the matching HD D60 front is limited I think. It is super expensive for us to make the matching front HD D60 axle. So yes we opted for the look-alike diff cover for now.

I may change my mind in future...
