Default Vanquish lockers and Incision universals

I just bought VP lockers and Incision universals for Pro 44 axles. There is slop when I insert the axle into the locker. This should be a super tight fit right? I also purchased VP locker and Hot racing axles for the rear and I have to beat them together(supertight). should I reach out to VP or is this normal? I don't like slop.

Yes, it should be a snug fit. The whole reason to upgrade lockers is to get rid of the slop. Contact VP for sure.

I just got off the phone with VP. I was told they just changed the tolerances on the universals because people were complaining they were too tight. All of them will have some play unless I can find a set of universals from the old batch. I bought all VP stuff to get the best fit. I guess I was wrong. I need a locker and universals that have zero slop and in stock somewhere. any suggestions?

Yeah I suggest you return the stuff because that is a shit answer. Nobody wants loose lockers. That's why you buy an aftermarket one.

It's a shame RPP has to fix VP's **** ups because they won't do it themselves. But at least somebody is taking care of you.

RPP stepped up to the plate again! They went so far as to test fit different spools to Incision universals. They are sending me a SSD. I am told it fits tight. I'll report back when it arrives.
