Lets just be clear about something. This is not some illegal clone. It is a patent expiring allowing any company to reproduce it.

ill wait for all of yall to get them, test them and see.. I'm more interested in the frame, leafs and transmission for a some day 1:1 ....

so yall bash the shiet out of it and let us know how it holds up. wonder if or when they will sell parts. I could just buy leafs and trans.... I'm still wanting to use a traxxas trx4 as my base...

I don't support price gouging. That's exactly what Tamiya is doing with their recent change.

That would make for an awesome YouTube series.

As a long time Bruiser guy (nearly 20 years now) Ive seen nothing but good reviews on this so far...

With Tamiya's new pricing, they are gonna have to wake up and do something different because between much scaler models being available (IE RC4WD) and cheap quality knock offs, its gonnna be an issue...

AMPRO got his and reported all good things as well

Couple things to note, and granted I don't have one, but the guys who do and have pointed out some stuff keep this is mind

OG Bruiser had pot metal axles, also had issues with play at knuckles, we would do aluminum can shims or bearing mods to solve that. Cant speak for re release axles, I never bought one because I think the new axles are awful look

OG Bruiser did have frame from the front of the chassis, behind the cross member, to the center cross member/trans mount its a long stretch and its were the chassis also narrows as well so that as also been a point for the chassis to flex

OG Bruiser shafts sucked, the pin would wallow out the shaft rather quickly

SO with all that said, it seems like you basically gotta do the same upgrades or some stuff that you would have to an original, but this one is half the price....

Received mine.
Looks great and shifts perfect.

Had one issue. The plastic protection foil. Was sticky enough to remove the chrome paint of the topper.

Already emailed it to the seller and hé will come with an solution.

Did you put the pin all the way through and it doesn't lock, or you cant make the pin go in?

Wow that looks just like the rere manual interested to see more about this - might buy one when the next 20% ebay coupon hits and compare with my rere bruiser.

I ask, because when i got my first hilift from tamiya the rear diff hole pin didn't align with the axle that locked the diff, so they had to send me a new axle shaft with the correct hole drilled, hope that makes sense.

THanks. I did not removed the axle, just use the L-shape driver to try to put the setscrew in. That didnt work. Think i have to remove the axle first and see how to align the hole.
Also still bit considering if i want to lock the diff. Going to drive it first

That is where I got mine. The battery is being ship by it's self, and haven't received it yet. The truck looks nice. I'm working on a ascender mod, so haven't had time to do much with it other than unbox it.
