That is really hard to pass up. My only problem is... as much as I would want one... I don't know when/where I'd run it. I bought the Bruiser and Mountaineer Re-Re's for nostalgia purposes, but kind of regret it now. Don't know if I'll ever get around to building them.

Thank you , with the rc4wd hex conversion you will need to file the axle shafts so they will fit the diff . it took me less then 5 minutes to do with a flat file.

Don't regret it, I bought a Team Associated Re-Release a few years ago. Never built it then put it on Ebay this summer, it sold for stupid money.

Mine came from Toucan via eBay as well. They have (at least) 2 'stores', I ordered from the US store and had it in 3 days from New Jersey (IIRC) to Texas.

Well mine from China arrived today in perfect condition. I must say for $221.00 shipped there is a lot there for your money. I am going to tear it down and grease, shim and locktite as needed. Then a few upgrades and get it ready for spring.

Just got mine today from Banggood. $214 shipped Could not say NO to that!

Shocks leaked oil all over anything not covered in plastic. Battery was plugged in, but luckily the power switch was in the OFF position. Wall wart charger is Euro only, luckily I won't be using it as I have a lipo charger coming in today. The included battery is scary.

Can't wait to get home to really check it out.

This will be my first RC after a long hiatus. Used to have four nitro 1/10 onroads, an Axial AX-10 and an RR-10 Bomber (loved that thing). Sold them all for pennies after bumps in the road of life.

Been wanting a Bruiser or Hilux since forever but could not justify the $1000+ price tag.

Not looking to make this into a serious crawler like the Bomber was, but would like it to be able to make it to the top of Stone Mountain in Georgia without assistance.

We lived in Lawrenceville a decade ago. I'm not sure even *I* could make it to the top of Stone Mountain without assistance.

Well, unboxing done.

Oil from shocks everywere. Really.

Drove a two charges on that stock 1.500 mAh ultralight lipo. Must be something like 600mAh in reality.

Steering servo is a joke. Esc cries and windes like crazy. But it gets the rig running.

When batery is nearly depleated - it tends to run away. No fail safe mode here.

Then I wanted to do some work on it - like servo upgrade, XT60 connector etc.

But after oppening electronics box - I gave up.

3 of 4 screws to hold cover of servo box were already stripped. Plastic as material is some cheap reclaimed garbage.

I guess all the rest is not far away in terms of materials.

The chingling chon chung chang may have copied the design - but missed the details and materials.

Mine is going in small ads tomorrow.

Too bad for you rcradio! I've owed an original and 2 re-re, I think this thing is very close to them in quality. I bought the kit version $178 + 5 shipping from banggood, I am very excited about it.
