According to the Taiwan rc forum’s information. This China Toyata is 100% replicate the Original Tamiya mountaineer. So, parts are should be compatible with Tamiya.

I paid a relatively hefty price for the re-release. Might have to look into these for custom work. I wonder how the quality of the parts are compared to the original.

I personally dont find it that funny, "someone in japan" as in a full team, put allot of passion and probably thousands of hours in designing work, making molds / metal stamping for the original kit. Setting up the packaging just in box art and advertising alone costs hundreds of thousands to do correctly back then.

Coping a small rc dosent seem like a big deal, till your flying home from your vacation in a knock off Airbus and crash in flames.

It took China long to duplicate this one. I guess the demand wasn't strong enough or they weren't aware of it back in the day when everybody on here was clamoring for a Bruiser re-release and/or hunting to find an OG Bruiser for a leaf spring build.
