3D printing is common in prototypes. That doesn't mean the production parts will be 3D printed. With that being said, 3D printed axles and skid plates are already fairly common and people say they are as durable as molded plastic axles.

Isn't that suspension going to provide less travel, being restricted to only using the area from the frame rails and below?

Shock mounting hoops provide more room... I'd think.

Looks relatively interesting, especially if it will self adjust itself like that

Liking the forward motor positioning and faux engine, I'm surprised we don't see that more often. Nice detail touch that seems to be missed/ignored by most manufacturers.

We've started using some kevlar embedded 3D printed parts in appliances...in some cases they've proved better than low end injected molded samples from suppliers. 3D printing is the future, and the future is now!

so... adjustable wheelbase means just the back half of the skid and the rear shock mounts slide back? so if you run at the shortest you could have frame sticking out from the body? or longest setting the frame is not long enough to mount your rear bumper?

ehhhh i remain skeptical... ascender and CMAX will still be the undisputed champs of adjustable wheelbase in my book.

It looks like another "unique" part which makes you tied to 1 type of shocks.

Also What is the benefit of this 15degree angle compared to à couple of shock mount holes on the link mounts / axles?

Instead of allowing the shock to rotate on a pivot ball, I assume the entire upper mount pivots 15 degrees in each direction to follow the shock as it moves during compression.

Interesting take and out of the box thinking if nothing else.

Looks like counter rotating transmission. Too bad the placing will have the car banging the transmission box and shafts to rocks all the time. The axles have nice small pumpkins but the reduction at axle could probably be better, though the counter rotation will help as long as there’s traction. The car will also have a huge amount of antisquat...

This Crawler's whole structure was using ANSYS CFD software performing 24 hour simulation to ensure and deliver this scale crawler's performance.

Also available scale Dyna 30/44 axles as options for customers to choose and upgrade later.

Not to question the engineering and function at this time, the downfall I see right off is the lack of. Meaning the departure from the norm will leave customized builders for some time without much for aftermarket options. I do not consider myself a builder but more of a parts swapping and upgrading of the vehicle person which I thing would leave me for one wanting.
