be careful with those guys, I made the mistake of grabbing one. I had a hole between my thumb and index finger you could see through from one quick bite. Little bastards aren't to be messed with in their minds.

It's a big one, I see him from time to time. I don't think he'll come out while I'm driving, but he was not happy with me moving some stone.

Now my course needs a military truck for protection... lol.

Thats a great little backyard coarse.

My method is to stack some pallets in a stair stepped orientation so I can stack rocks up on them and have a slope on either side. the stair shape provides some flat spots that make stacking rocks easier. Since I have so little space (6'x12') I will re-stack all of the rocks every few months to keep things fresh.

I just recently made a gravel hill of sorts, I made a wood ramp like structure that holds the gravel in place on the sides and I included a few baffles in the ramp/climb area to keep the gravel in place some what. The up side is a bit easier and not too deep while the down side is much deeper gravel and very tricky to get up.
