Default Axial honcho knock-off?

Yall seen the remo hobby 1093-st? Looks just like the axial honcho... Wonder if itd be worth droppin the ball on? Maybe a good starter for my lil man (hes 4)? Looks pretty good, but idk bout quality. May have to check into it more. Not a bad price though, under $200

Anybody have/had experiance with this? Maybe could give us some insight on this lil rig?

It may be worth a try. At least it has aluminum links.

I think it was GearBest, or BangGood, that has them around the $200usd mark right now.

Oil failed damp shocks? How do they work then?

The remo looks to be rather capable. Needs some weight reconfigured, but not bad for a knock off. Looks like i need to get a few for my boys. Looks like its set up more like the scx10.2

I'm hoping addition weights inside the tires help with that issue. What do you think?

I think that would definantly help. Maybe a aluminum or steel bumper up front too. In my scx10.2 ive got a servo relocate/bumper mount, which helps shift the weight more fwd as well

Heres a couple pics. Looks to me the remo n scx10/10.2 may interchange parts too. The chassis is a lil different on the remo, but not by much
