| Axles ???
Is there a 1/10 scale axle that is around 7 1/2" outside to outside? Ive got a Jeep Liberty KJ that I'm working on. The 1/12 ecx barrage axle aren't the look I'm going for. The cc01 is a good platform (looking for scale look) I'm looking at using a scx10 chassis. I could narrow a set of axles.. scx10 or t-rex 60. Just figured id ask here before attempting to try and narrow a set of axles (never done it before) Thanks for all your help in advance. |

A CC01 would be perfect, if you can deal with its quirks. MST MPA axles would be a great choice if you want to stick with solid axles. Mine measure 7.65 wide at the edge of the tires. (All depends on wheel choice/offset of course) About $100 or so per set on Ebay.

I built a cc01 land rover discovery about five years ago it was very capable class 1 rig I think it would be perfect for that body. Link below https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...0&share_type=t |

Are you looking for 7.5 inches to the outside of the wheels? A set of RC4WD Yota II or K44 axles (they are about 7 inches wide hex to hex) with a set of negative offset wheels like the Gmade steel ones could get you close. If you are not in a hurry, I can get you a measurement on this setup in a few days. Bowhouse has a new 152mm D60 style axle that should fit any narrow body but you would have to get creative with mounting on anything other than a GCM Cmax. The MST axles that OSRC mentioned are another choice. |

You can use any of the 1/10th scaler axles they are mosty all narower than 7 1/2 then fine tune them with wheel offset hubs.

I just went with the MST narrow axles. Great turning radius and much better looking than the mentioned ecx/MRC axles that I used to use for narrow builds. The wheels used to stand out 10mm with SSD (scx10) axles, now they tuck in. Solved all my problems with them since I didn't want to narrow axles either. Don't have great pics right now, but you might get the idea: Last edited by fxman; 11-08-2018 at 02:41 PM. Reason: text added |

Running narrowed 10.2 axles under my KJ build. Pretty straightforward to do yourself, but Beeftubes offers prenarrowed 10.2 housings if you dont feel comfortable doing it. Will need to cut down the axle shafts though. |
