"When can we have Ascender 2.0 kits?" In reality if all the scale crawler stuff migrates to the Axial brand, I really don't mind as long as the quality of material on the parts is on par with the parts on the Ascender. So.... "When can we have SCXscender III kits?"

Ahhh now it makes sense. Started with hpi, founded axial who oddly enough made rigs with copy cat axles using parts that interchange with wheelie king parts and now he's gone to redcat who has been copying axial's old designs for years. Smart career move.

The main thing the Gen 8 needs is the fender flares re-cut... Ya don't make a squared-off add-on flare and then cut an arc in it! Easily rectified with a Dremel, I suppose. Although, Scouts had rounded flares - when they had 'em at all: Last edited by durok; 12-10-2018 at 06:30 PM. |

No, what the Gen 8 needs is durability. Redcat still doesn't have a great reputation.

Would never have expected that move. Strange year for scale RC: Axial and Vaterra are stable mates/partners Axial co-founder joins Redcat. What next... |

| Re: Axial News - Bad News? I couldn't find anything on this - what is your source? Arrma survives lawsuits file by Traxxas and continues on with success under Horizon. (or are they still pending?) Tower hobbies looks to survive - not sure how. Everything gets discounted to move product - never thought I would see that. Axial raw builders kit introduced instead of it being from Vaterra. Vaterra should fall in under Axial. Maybe we would get some better plastic parts. This hobby shop owner has some interesting comments... https://rogershobbycenter.com/from-b...bbico-now-what |

I have never bought a new rig. Not a kit nor rtr, everything I get is used and usually ends up with nothing stock in a short amount of time so basically as long as good designs keep coming from the factories for the aftermarket to build from, I don't care what happens. The assender wouldn't suck so bad if it wasn't geared to the moon and the links weren't 3" apart. That thing is the epitome of torque twist straight out the box. Maybe it needs portals to gear it down and the lower links spaced out to get things under control? That would make it usable but as is those axles can suck it. |
