Default 1:18 scale rear axle not working.

Someone suggested that I ask this question here, and that he had seen the problem somewhere else.
================================================== ============

I bought 2 Nylint Crawlers for my wife and 2 kids for Christmas, and 1 of them worked flawlessly. Then the other 2 had rear axle issues.

One of them will not go forward unless you manipulate the rear axle to the forward position. This isn't much of a problem since the front pulls it and engages the rear.

The other one, the front axle works fine. The rear axle will only go in reverse. It will not go forward at all.

I took the cover off the rear, but I could not find anything wrong.

So, any opinions? Funrise is not wanting to do anything but have me take it back and I would like for my entire family to be able to go out and crawl with me (even though the wife doesn't have any interest)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mark

BUMP.....

Anyone have any idea what I should be looking at?

Or has anyone else had, seen, or heard of this problem?

Thanks for the input.

I would check all the wire connections. at the board and at the motor.

there might be a bad one . these wire are very small. and if you or one it the kids pulled on it could have pull just enough to only make contact if it moves.

try to move the wires wile you pull the trigger.

It was like this right out of the box, on the first charge.

My son didn't touch it, other than the radio.
