Default JJRC willys jeep 2 speed driveshaft question?

Will the WPL 2 speed transmission fit using the existing driveshafts?

Here is the you tube video with the 2 speed(fast forward towards the end)

Your best bet is to use the CV style metal driveshafts for the WPL trucks, I have six of these little trucks and those are the best shafts around for all of these trucks, I'm running them on all of mine.

I have no idea if the stock shafts will work but I do know this, the 2 spd has flats on the output shafts for set screw style shafts so you would probably have to try to super glue them on, also the 370 motor has way more torque and power than the stock 130 motor so if they do work they are not going to last one run, or not not much more than that.

Can you tell from the video if the shafts are original ? They are black and don't look like typical shiny steel upgrades.

I can't tell, they are possibly plastic style with set screws, hard to tell. The stockers are press fit on splined output shafts.
