Everybody is talking about it here: A new Axial thing, not the last new thing but another new thing.

It's not a Unimog since it's a fake. It's a Chunimog.

I'm going to pick it up even if it's just another SCX10.2. Really happy that it's a kit!

I think some aftermarket portal axles are in order. Portals are what made the MOG series so cool.

Honestly, it's the second best looking SCX10 II ever IMO. The Blazer is first.

someone is going to come up worth a proper grille and headlight setup to make it look like a real Unimog really quick I'd say, cause that front is ugly as sin.

That's what I thought. Love them 'mogs. Even if it doesn't look exactly like a mog - it registers in my pea-brain as such.

I like it. If I had the cash to buy & support another rig I'd be on that pre-order list. Not big on that grill and light setup, but that can be changed.

The XJ body is actually not that bad. I like it a lot. I think it's just been out since the beginning so lots of people got used to it and it got saturated in everyone's minds. Especially when a lot of people probably own the SCX10 II. The fact that both the RTR and Kit used the same body didn't help.

The Blazer and UMG10 are definitely better though, with the inclusion of an interior among one of the reasons.

I've been meaning to pick up the Axial Blazer body and the hard top for it, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think the fact that we're blessed right now with so many well done bodies to choose from makes us lucky. There are so many bodies that I want to pick up, but not enough chassis to sit them on.

I also plan to probaby eventually pick up the Traxxas Blazer body and scale parts + wheels. At least with that one, I could probably just easily swap back and forth with the Bronco body depending on if I feel like it's a Chevy or Ford day.

The Cherokee body is a pretty good looking body, but mine was paper thin and having to cut out the entire front except for the sliver at the bottom for the grille opening is just asinine. It drove me nuts! The fact that the door handles are only affixed at one point and are free to spin also drives me nuts.

I think I have about a dozen bodies...four chassis. They're like underwear.

I bought the blazer RTR, fell in love with it. Just so classic. It's my trail truck, has XM satelite radio streamed to a BT speaker, and a bikini top, rally wheels. Clear bodies are finally in stock, I was thinking I would pick up another one for a different color and look.

I would like the 'mog thing just cuz I like them. At least we're getting some variety out from everybody, that's great. Where is Vaterra?????

Yeah that cut out for the grill seems to really weaken the body structure. To counter that, I ran a bead of E6000 inside across the top of the grill effectively making it one solid structure again. I also think the Axial Cherokee is an awsome choice of body for the TRX4.

I dont like it. But it's great to see axial put something else out on the market. Maybe it will bring more body/trucks to the scx lineup.

I just picked one up tonight. Been out of the game for a long time, but what a way to jump back in! So far it's going together well!
