Here is my build so far, I will update with specs later today.

Just picked up an E flight 3C 11.1 V 1300 w/proper connector already fitted. Fits perfectly in the battery compartment! Also, removed the bottom curved part of the battery compartment with the two screws for more driveshaft clearance once I lengthened the top links with two nuts on each link, extending it about 6 mm or so. To get rid of the binding in the driveshafts that is (Did anybody else have that problem?) Old man emu shocks upside down for lower weight & are usually do that just so they don’t leak oil, 80 mm front 70 mm rear with stiffer springs in the rear. Mamba micro X esc with tactic three channel receiver and radio. Amazon drive shafts grinded down for length. 1.9 tires and rims from my SCX10.2 (With lugs removed for more traction & fake plastic disc brakes for fun) 14 g weight on the rear axle and metal 23 tooth servo horn (still running the stock servo, don’t really think it has enough power so will upgrade in the future). And all the cool stickers a boy at heart could ever dream of!

I think I pretty much have covered it all, but marijuana affects the memory!

Also, I would consider this a 1/14 scale…? Next to the 1/24 scale SCX 24 (which has the same wheel base as the 1/18 scale RC4WD).

I am in California near Sacramento… I will check the two hobby shops we have locally tomorrow. I assume it doesn’t matter what color? Since it’s really only stickers and the bead lock rings that differentiate the two!

Not to get your hopes up, but I am 87.3825% sure I saw one when I was there a week ago. I will post on here tomorrow morning around 1100 my time.

Looks really cool. Wish they would sell a kit without the radio and receiver so we could just use our own. I would really like to get one but, the whole "Available in Store Only" thing is something I really dislike about Horizon Hobbies. The closest store to me is over 120 miles away so they like to punish those of us without stores nearby. It is really irritating, and is starting to make me not want to buy anything from them. Gerr, sorry for the rant.

I get it and you aren't wrong but I get both sides. They want to keep the hobby alive and want people into their hobby stores to keep distributors alive and going so it entices other purchases and a community as well. That being said for people like you that it is very long distances away, it doesn't work for you.
