Thanks. You can see even more in Axial's large, high resolution photo that I linked to. You can clearly see the roll bar lights. Here's the link again:

Exactly. And there's a 99% chance it's going to be disappointing like pretty much every Axial teaser that goes back as far as I can remember.

I know some people disagree with me, but Axial has become a joke of their former self. They used to release products that were innovative and blew us away. Ask yourself, seriously, when is the last time Axial released something that wowed us? The SCX10 II? Since then we've just gotten SCX10 IIs with new bodies.

The 1.9 Wraith was cool, but it's an overpriced heap of plastic. Every other company out there can include metal links and metal hollow balls at that price point, but not Axial. It's become laughable.

You know that last company that blew us away with a scaler? Traxxas.

EDIT: I just remembered a more recent time when Axial blew us away. When they partnered with that jackass from Exclusive RC! That post went over like a gun at an airport. The comments were gold. It was so bad that Axial quickly deleted that post and acted like nothing every happened.

Portals and maybe a licensed body like they should have done with the UMG release?

This teaser looks like another Unimog knock off to me. Maybe it's a 1/18th Unimog that nobody wants.

You know you're going to get them, plastic balls included, and you're going to like it!

It's an upgraded SMT10 re-release kit.

I'm going to keep guessing this until it comes true.

Could someone break down that series of events for me, please? I’ve read a couple of rants about the guy, but none of them really explained the jackassery, and I’ve never payed attention to what he’s been doing.

Tiago or Brian, depending on what his real name actually is since he's changed it from Tiago in the drift scene to Brian in the crawling scene, is a dramatic dude that has screwed a lot of customers. He prints super low quality garbage and that's IF he actually ships the stuff. Many guys have had to beg him to get the stuff they paid for. Then whey they get it they realize it's low quality and fragile junk that any newb could print.

His many disgruntled customers just went off on him and Axial on the Facebook page announcing Axial's partnership with him. It was brutal and hilarious. Axial should have known better. Somebody in the PR department was clueless to the BS of this clown. I'm pretty sure I saved it because it was hilarious and I knew Axial would be taking it down.

The image below is an example of his print taken from the AMain website. A newb to 3D printing could make something better.

I bought the grill and handle set for the Datsun 620 body from Exclusive RC and it wasn't good at all. I think it was around $70-$80 I wanted a dang 620 though haha

Also pretty crazy how a top level (A-)mainstream RC store would sell a product like that, and not stopping to think, provided that product photo!!!

That’s the kind of quality you tolerate when their Mom is your boss.

Wait, is there actually a "blood is thicker than 3D printed junk" situation going on?? Is he somebody in Horizon’s son?

I don’t really know, but that’s the only excuse I can think of for a retailer to actually stock & market that stuff. Or someone is trying to plow the guy’s Mom (I guess that’s the same as her being someone’s boss).

Exclusive is the same guy who printed up that foreskin Jato posted? Uh oh, yeah I have bought some printed stuff from Exclusive as well. It didn't look terrible, but the design and quality of materials were particularly poor. Needless to say, after dropping 90 bucks I had some buyers remorse. Would never recommend the place

Correct. I don't mention the name of the company because, as is always said, no press is bad press and I don't want to give him any advertisement.

Ok exclusive sucks. Got it.

Meanwhile I'm getting hyped with all the releases about to drop, regardless of blurry teaser pics.
I'm REALLY glad I didnt pull the trigger on a 1.9 wraith just so I could have a "serious" rig at proline by the fire.
Since I'm not even going now, the point is moot AND I can waiy for all these reveals, pick whatever "speaks to me", have time to finish my 79 tribute truck AND upgrade whatever comes out as my next rig and go to proline 2020 GUNS ABLAZIN!!!

As a newb to 3D printing, I can confirm that I could make something better.

Default Another new axial?

Still think it’s a prerunner back to the future 3 livery, whitewall Vogue tire DeLorean based off the Yeti XL Chassis, judging from the first pic. 13th scale
