V belt I hope and not serpentine! Needs to match the vintage valve covers and camel hump heads!

Aftermarket like March has them, not original equip. High end custom billet.

JUN3019 gets you $30 off at Amain = $419, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!

Well now you deserve a stick in the eye for jinxing it! But honestly, the coupon didn't work for me last night when I tried so...

Can't the motor cover issue just be solved with a simple spacer?

I honestly have no idea how anyone can complain about the price of this kit. The complete axles, shocks, and links would be $350 if purchased separately. Put it together put wheels, tires, body, and electronics of your choice and it’s good to go. Don’t have to worry about leaking shocks or swapping out rtr electronics.

For $450, it really is a no brainer. Even if VP does come out with thier new trans, you would still be set back at least 600 in parts to just exceed this kits performance (maybe).

I made a comment to harley on a youtube vid, me being very realisctic, that he didnt take kindly to... Performance for the bills.

SSD is the new VP.

It seems like a very fair price to me. You get exactly what you need and want, no paying for extras that you'll end up replacing anyway. When I build a new crawler, it will be this one. Easily.

Thanks guys. It's good to see most of you have sense and understand the price point.

Yes absolutely can use the transmission without the faux engine. The transmission bolt pattern on the motor mount is almost the same as previous transmission. The engine has both sets of bolt patterns in it. So it is backward compatible to the SSD aluminum scale transmisison and GCM scale trans.
