Default SSD 90mm scale shocks.

Been looking at some Kings and powerstrokes when I stumbled upon the SSD scale 90mm shocks.
Just wondering has anyone used them, are they good, do they leak etc... ?
I'd like some feedback, I have tried a Google search and a forum search but nothing really has come back other than shops selling them.
Would appreciate some feedback from anyone who is using them

I’ve been running them on my 10.2 for a few months now and they’ve been great. No leaks at all (great x ring assembly) and they’re still butter smooth.

Springs were a little stiff for my preference but the traxxas GTS springs fit and offer a lot of tuning options.

Here’s a video so you can see them in action. This truck is more ssd than axial at this point.

Thanks. We are working on softer spring options

Im not super impressed with these (the machining and overall quality is flawless). I just hate when shocks come assembled. The x rings were dry and in my opinion they came slightly damaged from the assembly process. I disassembled them before adding oil for the first time and rebuilt them using oring grease and of course they leak.

Anyways, question for SSD or anyone else who might know. The x rings look identical to Associated x rings. Would the Associated x rings work for the rebuild?

Why would some scale shock manufacturer not add bleeder screws??!!

SSD stands behind their products and I will continue to support them.
