A 6x6 is cool to look at, but functionally I feel like it's the answer to a question nobody is asking.

New metal servo horn from Axial included. S30 tires instead of R35 like included on the 4x4 UMG10. |

Neat, Too bad they didn’t make an improvement on that wonky grill.

| Re: Axial Factory 6x6? Well... There goes $500 of OT... No release date yet... Wonder if they will be releasing a kit version? The body isn't bad, flipping up from the back isn't a bad idea. But, if I buy one the bed will be one of the first things to go. Don't like the wheels, there is something offputting with the color or the design. Easy change to beadlocks. |

| Re: Axial Factory 6x6? That's a lot to spend on myself for my birthday, but it would be an uber cool present to open up! Also gives me time to try and clear out some unused trucks. I don't care much for the body color, or wheels, either. I would've preferred they at least used the same color as the RTR 10.2 Deadbolt, or something. As I think about it, though, a 6x6 RTR means that many more cheap parts that I would soon want to replace, like the shocks, or the capellini spaghetti metal links. Don’t hate it, but it doesn’t get me fired up either. Maybe it will grow on me? I’m leaning more toward the Beast II. |

On Instagram, Rich said there are no kit versions planned.

Since they won't do a 6x6 kit it'd be nice if they would sell the rear add ons separately as a package. Looks like everything just bolts onto the back of a normal 10.2.

| Re: Axial Factory 6x6? That is too bad. If I buy one I'll fire everything up, make sure everything is in good working order, then rip the ass out of it... I like building kits, mainly so I know how it went together. But, with experience with the SCX10, I would be happy getting a rolling chassis. The RX will be useful, its Spektrum, but I'll drop a 6-ch RX for all of the crap I'll want to run. The ESC, motor, and servo are gone. So, with everything apart I'll have a built kit with about $100-150 worth of parts that I don't want... |

| Re: Axial Factory 6x6? It's a gimmick buy for those of us too lazy to have built a 6x6 out of spares by now. Kinda like the official 1.9 Wraith eliminating the guesswork of building your own from different parts.

One thing about the dull grey paint... Just like the Element Sendero grey and the TRX-4 Defender silver - they work fine when painted on the outside with another color, using the existing RTR body undercoat as a sort of primer base. |

This is a project I have been working slowly towards for about two years. So far I have the chassis and most of the drive train. Sadly, this project keeps getting bumped off of the bench. At this point I am ready to buy one and customize it to my liking. A bit lazy, sure, and certainly not as cool as building one from the ground up, but I am ok with that. Plus, I might feel a little bad if I didn't have any custom builds under my belt, but at this point, I am not going to miss the garage engineering. | |
