Damn the West has the coolest terrain. I'm more jealous of the dunes than I am of the rocks, but both are awesome.

The ray of sunlight shining down on the Origins is a nice touch. That picture is "heavenly".

Another epic video! Them views are outstanding!

That looks like an amazing place to hike and crawl! It's great to see the Pro take a beating and still drive like the pro that it is!

With each of these awesome videos, it is getting harder and harder to wait for my Pro to ship!

Ran some gates this weekend at Donner. The local club put a course together next to the WE Rock event.

Pro kit did amazing. Doesnt look as pretty anymore

Harley already made a video, I'm sure he will post up the link.

Kits will be shipping soon, right on schedule!

GoPro Hero 7 Black. I have a love/hate relationship with it. All of the vlog stuff is done on those cameras, I leave all my nice gear at home. I do the vlogs for fun, so I’m not worried about the production vale AS MUCH compared to a normal video. The GoPros constantly freeze up, and fail at recording. I bought the DJI Osmo Action and it has its own quirks too, plus no ability to run an external mic yet. Can’t win with these things.

I hear that a lot about the new GoPros. It's a shame. I'm still shocked a better competitor hasn't gained more widespread appeal.

Besides the external mic, which I probably wouldn't use, would you recommend the Osmo?

Have you ever tried Sony action cameras? I have not, but they look great.

What color is the paint on the body?

I am waiting for my VS4-10 PRO, I want to use the same color.

Or the Chinese knockoffs. I bought a Yi Action Camera that uses the same optics as the go pro of the time(might have been the 3 or 4) for like $80 including mounts and a waterproof case. Even has wifi control from my phone.

Hell, I can even hack the firmware and increase the bitrate of the video.

I knew I would probably only use it a handful of times and then get board, which is exactly what happened, so I didnt wanna spend the $ on a GoPro.

I have the Yi, Yi 4K and Yi 4K+ and I love them all. I prefer them over my last gen GoPro Session. I don't think you'll find a better bang for your buck on the market.

But YouTubers typically want top shelf quality because PooTube compresses it if I remember correctly.

The video quality on the Yi cameras doesn't turn me away for a second. I would totally be open to them if it weren't for the lack of stabilization. I gave up on gopros a 3-4 years back but when the 6 came out with decent stabilization, I was happy to return. Then the 7 came out and it has fantastic stabilization I was even more excited. I bought the Osmo for the Rock Steady stabilization and I don't think it's as good as the GP personally. Even with seeing all the side by sides, it just doesn't feel as smooth. But beyond that, the build quality of th DJI is far better and I like the lens cover system. Size is bigger but not by too much. I'm not mad that I bought it, but I need them to release their external mic adapter (or update the firmware so the Pocket version will work).

I'm working on the How-to videos as I type. Nothing exciting, but it will have all the step by step info for anyone who may have questions. Or in case some of you want to see every detail of the truck. I did this for the last VS4-10 as well and it really helps with the customer service side.
