It's an awesome motor on 3S and 4S. Very smooth (more torque than 540 can) and more rpm. BL is great in go fast, but crawling not sold on it...yet.

The skid angles up just slightly and matches lower links at full compression. I found having the skid plate reach that far forward actually reduces hang ups from a standard skid plate with an edge where the front lower links mount. Gives it a smooth transition if that makes sense.
Makes perfect sense.

In other words, hopefully it'll fit!

Good. I've trimmed motor shafts before, no problem.

Alternate battery tray will be available.

What I would give to come spend a couple weeks out there and design/manufacture some cool stuff...

You'd probably fix the shitty geometry the links have had for the last 10+ years that pretty much every aftermarket axial chassis designer other than VP has fixed already.

Does the stock wankertron9000 scx geometry get the job done? Sure. Could it be improved upon very easily? Absogawdamlutely.

definitely a killer setup , would be a good point if we could use centered axles in the front.

Still no details on the axles though.
As the chassis kit has been released I’d love it if they release the VFD and axles separately or as a builders kit

Yeah, I’ve got some of their stuff and not really happy or impressed. I just removed the magnet rear mount as the base won’t hold shock tower screws, too tall, nuts not captured (poor design)........
I looked hard at it before I cut and installed the rollcage, can’t use the cab back and Knights cage

The half cab is the only item I bought from them and have not used it yet. I put the first coat of putty on it to fill the print lines and that is as far as I have gotten on it. I seems well printed and a good design, but yes no roll bar will fit unless you make one yourself.

It looks like the original vs4-10 will be in limited supply from now on.

Hell yeah Although you're already doing a great job with High Altitude!

Have you looked closely at a VS4-10 chassis? There are additional link mounting positions front and back.

Not enough to make a huge difference on performance.

Take a look at toyzuki and classicutcustoms scale chassis. Take a look at what Erik did with his sporty that has 4 link panhard front and rear.

I like what you guys did with the new trans. Fashionably late though.

Got curious and looked up the VP "not scout" origin lexan body...
GADZOOKS MAN its not made of clear vibranium is it?!
And while I'm still on my "wrong side axle drop" even the origin is on the wrong side for a "not scout"
Sorry but for that much coin... Sheesh...

It has an interior and molded plastic parts. It's not that bad compared to a $60 no extras proline body.
