Yup

Centered rear offset front, I’m praying OD in the case!

Putting the motor under the transmission while lengthening the transmission? Interesting. I'm not sure of the purpose of it at this point.

COG should benefit, not to mention transfer case, and interior room

For someone with so many opinions on design, it seems like you’d be able to see the obvious advantages shown.

Ever seen a toyzuki setup? Similar setup but not divorced.

The motor is the heaviest component in the transmission. I tried to design this transmission to get the motor even lower but I ran into the skid plate. Its all about balanced performance and a predictable rig.

The VFD Trans will be a direct bolt in to VS4-10 chassis rails and provide huge performance benefits with the lowest motor position from a production kit on the market.

Does it require a new battery location in the VS4-10 or does it some how fit under the stock tray?

Sensitive one, aren't you? Listen, I know I was an anti-VP troll in the past, but I've admitted on this forum I was wrong and I'm now a VP fan. It was a simple statement not a personal attack on Vanquish.

It appears you're adding gears to the transmission which I assume is to change the gearing of the outputs for overdrive/underdrive like ToyZuki has been doing for years now. But why make the transmission longer in order to move the motor? Sure, the heavy motor is awesomely low, but you also put some rotating mass up high. Why not make a compact transmission/transfer case and put the motor on the other end? That's the part I don't understand. Was the intent to make the motor/transmission/transfer case assembly as compact as possible to fit the Origin chassis? Or are you trying to keep it compact for weight distribution?

EDIT: Ah you posted as I was writing my comment. So it was designed this way to fit the Origin which makes more sense. And I'm guessing you always did it as a way to control weight distribution. Are you releasing a new Origin kit with this transmission assembly included or will it always be an odd-on?

Oh Heaven !!!!
Thanks Brandon, that is the crowning touch for my VS4.
I just didn’t want a toyzuki add on, this will give me what it’s been short of!

Hopefully short lead like your chassis kit had!

The rotating mass is actually lower. The spur gear and topshaft is lower than a standard 3 gear trans. If you think about the height of the spur gear with a standard 3 gear trans you will appreciate how compact this truly is. I hope once you see the entire picture you will be impressed. As hard as it is to impress you...

Your questions regarding releasing a kit vs sold separate I cannot say yet.

Will this allow the use of a 550 can motor?

I'm thinking a second vs4-10 is gonna be needed for me. Even better if this came in the kit.

Cool. It's difficult to tell that from an image without dimensions. But if it has the qualities that you claim, which I believe, it's good to see another step forward for scaler transmissions.

Inspector brings up a good question that made me thinking of another. Will it fit a TRX-4?
