| $12 toys-R-us crawler.
Just picked up a Superslick monster 4x4. Other than the crude paint job its still stock. Anyone have one of these? Mod ideas. I has a ok amount of flex for what it is. |

Yea, that pretty much it. But its a 1:24 and looks like it has some potential. I need to figure out how to lock it and get a better moter and I think it would do just fine.

With the LSSM shock mod you can get nearly 80 degrees of flex with it. Go to Mini-Z racer and search for it. You'll find some sweet threads.

This $12 toy, looks like it will need some mods to do any crawling, it has no ground clearance at axles or belly. Good luck if you mod. | |

The question is does anyone have the 1/43 version of the Super Slick ? If you do then I will buy it from you and you name the price.

I got one of those a long time ago when they first came out. I never really did much with it, but I did drive it COMPLETELY underwater for quite some time and it still works perfectly. Then I finally found a 1:43 and built it. Pics of it are on the bottom of this page: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...highlight=SSMT |

Never liked it for crawling, but it was fun to bash. Drop in a different motor. Open the axles and hot glue the diffs and its fun to mess around with. |
